These are condensed, mobile-friendly versions of the fashion articles originally written for my sister site, Hooked-on. If anything catches your interest, I hope you'll visit Hooked-on as well.
The images on this site are formatted in a tall portrait orientation for mobile. On a desktop screen they'll appear quite large. If that's not to your preference, the original versions are on Hooked-on.

This site, Interest, rebuilds the Hooked-on articles — originally written on WordPress — using Drupal, and takes advantage of Drupal's features to enable reverse-lookup navigation and browsing by article relationships. My hope is that visitors leave with their sense of interest — their curiosity — a little more expanded.
I'm drawn to things where the quality of construction shows and where you can sense the maker's commitment to what they do. Once I take to a brand or maker, I tend to stick with them. I lean toward things that wear well in everyday life rather than anything showy — quality over spectacle. I choose what suits me rather than what's on trend, so my criteria for what I buy haven't changed much in years. As a result, older pieces and newer ones tend to work together naturally — which means things last, and I don't buy much I end up regretting.
