En AWS Articles.

This is a collection of articles about Amazon Web Service.

This website is hosted on AWS. It is a very high-functionality, versatile hosting service, but because it is so versatile and flexible, it can be difficult to understand what the service content and the functions you want are when you first start using it. This makes it difficult to predict your budget and grasp a concrete image of the structure, and it gives the impression that it is difficult to use for individuals.

When you actually try using it, you'll find that there are also environments available for personal use without spending any budget, and the management screen is easy to understand, and each function is also easy to set up, so it's easy to manage for personal use. The service is designed for large companies and organisations, and it is a service with excellent scalability for large amounts of access and huge amounts of information, so one of the advantages of AWS is that it makes it easy to migrate when your website grows and becomes larger.

I use Drupal packaged with Lightsail provided by AWS, manage domains with Route53, use domain email obtained with Amazon Work Mail, and manage email delivery with Amazon Simple Email Service in a simple configuration to manage the website.

Lightsail Summary.

The five Amazon Lightsail-related articles I have written over the past five issues have become long and confusing, so I will try to summarise them briefly.

Contact Form and SES.

I am trying to set up an email from an AWS-acquired domain as the recipient of form mail, but it is not working well because I am getting sending errors. We have compiled an article on the causes of the errors and how to deal with them.

Amazon Work Mail.

I acquired a domain with Route53, but there was no facility to assign an email account to the domain, so I searched and found a service called Amazon Work Mail, which I will use.

Installing Lightsail and Drupal.

The installation is easy to complete, as the virtual server called Lightsail and the optimised Drupal are installed at the same time.

AWS registration and IAM.

After registering with AWS, IAM creates a separate account with the rights to actually use AWS.

Amazon Lightsail.

We will continue to prepare for the public release. We have chosen Amazon Lightsail for our hosting service.

Welcome

I am currently trying my hand at Drupal after discovering the appeal of CMS through WordPress.

This is a blog written by a beginner who is learning Drupal.

Drupal is a CMS that requires an understanding of structured rules. As a result, it offers a high degree of configuration flexibility, but this also means that it has a steep learning curve for beginners. However, once you become familiar with it, it allows for more flexible system construction than other CMSs.

With its robust security and excellent scalability, this CMS is ideal for building large-scale websites. As a result, it is more commonly used by public institutions and corporations than by individuals, and development is often carried out by vendors. However, it is also an excellent CMS that offers high availability for individual use.
